What is Ram Welcome?

All new first-year and transfer students attend Spring Ram Welcome. It builds upon the orientation experience (including Preview, Next Step) for new students once they have arrived on campus in the spring. Spring Ram Welcome begins on Thursday, January 13, 2011 and continues throughout the first week of classes.  Spring Ram Welcome is designed to assist new students with the transition to CSU by creating community, connecting new students to resources and helping new students learn what it means to be a CSU Ram! (**Please note:  Spring Ram Welcome is a program for new students AFTER they attend Spring Orientation (Preview or Next Step).

When does Ram Welcome begin?

New students can check-in to Spring Ram Welcome when they attend the University Welcome & Dinner on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 6:00 pm in the Lory Student Center Main Ballroom (**Please note:  This is a limited capacity event, students must have signed up for this when they registered for spring orientation. Reservations are full at this time). All other new students can check in to Spring Ram Welcome by stopping by Orientation & Transition Programs (Aylesworth 202 NE) the first week of classes, January 18-21, 2011 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.

How do I know who my Ram Welcome Leader is?

Ram Welcome Leaders are the primary student leadership team behind Ram Welcome who guide and connect new students throughout the four day experience!  Ram Welcome Leaders will be avaliable at every event to meet new students and connect with new students.

Are parent & family members invited to attend Ram Welcome?

Yes! Parent and family members are invited to attend the University Welcome and Dinner on Thursday, January 13, 2011 if they signed up.  Students RSVP'd for guests when they registered for Spring Preview or Next Step Orientation Remember, this is a limited capacity event, reservations are full for this event.
