Throughout the semester a number of events and social gatherings are planned for new transfer students. These events are designed to help you enjoy your time at CSU while meeting other new students and making connections. We hope to see you at our events this semester!

Here you can interact with other transfer students, your TTLs, and learn about different opportunities and events that are happening around CSU. We'd love to hear about your Transfer Story and who you are! Follow our @TransferProgramsCSU Instagram account and submit either a picture or a video of yourself to be featured. Tell us your name, where you transferred from, and your hometown and you'll be featured on our Instagram page!

Transfer Student Kickoff
August 22nd, 2021 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
City Park in Fort Collins

Join Transfer Programs @ CSU and your Transfer Transition Leaders in City Park in Fort Collins for some lawn games and free food! We hope to you’ll join us for our kickoff to the start of the Fall semester!

Fort Collins Food Truck Rally
September 7th, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
City Park in Fort Collins

Fort Collins has some great opportunities for you to get connected to the city. One of these is through the Fort Collins Food Truck Rallies that happen every Tuesday throughout the months of June, July, August, and September. Join your Transfer Transition Leaders as they help you learn more about the awesome experiences we have in the Fort Collins area.

First Friday Gallery Art Walk
October 1st, 2021 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Old Town Fort Collins
If you have never visited Old Town in Fort Collins, then this is the event for you! Join your TTLs as they teach you more about the Old Town area and show you to some of the most iconic places in Old Town like Walrus! We hope to see you there!

Creating Effective Study Sessions
October 12th and 13th, 2021
Tuesday - TILT 212 from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Wednesday - Virtual Workshop from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Effective study sessions by yourself or with others is a great way to strengthen your understanding of course materials, find like-minded people who thrive in a collaborative learning environment, and prepare for your next exam. Research also has shown participating in high impact study sessions or collaborative learning helps to improve critical thinking & problem-solving skills. Join TILT as they discuss what makes an effective study session all together.
